Timetables
Look up scheduled train times, calling points, and operator information for any UK passenger or freight service. Built on Network Rail's CIF schedule data and kept up to date with short‑notice VSTP amendments, with typical coverage several months ahead.
Charter Train Maps
Visualise charter, railtour, and special train movements on an interactive map. Track real‑time positions when available and browse unusual workings you wouldn't normally see on standard departure boards.
Train Logbook
Log and share your train sightings with the community. Record the time, location, headcode, service type, and upload a photo — then browse what other enthusiasts have spotted across the network.
Unit Search
Browse every physical train unit seen on the network, filtered by operator and class. Real unit and coach numbers come from Network Rail's Passenger Train Allocation and Consist feed, alongside each unit's recent workings and a map of the routes it has covered. Passenger operators only.
APIs
REST APIs delivering live departure boards, full service tracking, delays, cancellations, and historical lookback — all built directly on Network Rail's TRUST movement feed and Darwin push‑port. Covers both passenger and freight across every UK TOC.
MCP Server
Connect RailFeed directly to Claude Desktop or any MCP‑compatible AI assistant. Ask natural‑language questions about services, stations, and live running data without writing a line of code — the server bridges the API into your assistant's tool set.
